Measured to the nearest edge of the lot, not its centre — the edge is where you get out of the car.
How far is the walk to the water?
From the parking to the waterline on the aerial photograph, in feet, with the walking time next to it.
Is there a restroom?
From OpenStreetMap and the official listing, with the caveat that beach restrooms are often seasonal.
What is the tide doing?
Modelled tide times for this coast, refreshed in your browser rather than baked in last month.
Does it cost anything?
Parking fees and town stickers, counted from visitor reports because no authority publishes them in one place.
Is it a beach for small children?
Repeated mentions of shallow water and flats, counted — not a sentiment score and not our opinion.

The place itself: name, address and opening hours from Google Business listings.
Visitor evidence
Repeated reports in public reviews, turned into structured facts and stored with the number of mentions and the years they span.
Open map data
Beach outlines, parking, restrooms and showers from OpenStreetMap under the ODbL, plus aerial imagery from PNOA, Instituto Geográfico Nacional de España, under CC BY 4.0.
A quality gate
We check a sample by hand. Anything under 90% accuracy is collected but never shown — six attributes are switched off for that reason.
