Plan for shallow, calm water
The sheltered cove has noticeably warmer and calmer conditions than nearby Orzán and Riazor beaches.
Use the ramp for stroller access
Wheelchair and stroller users should use the gradual ramp on the far side rather than the steep stairs.
Arrive before 10am in summer
The beach is small and fills quickly on sunny days, leaving little space between towels.
Check tide times before visiting
High tide significantly reduces sand; at the highest tides there may be almost no beach visible.
Strong currents near right-side rocks
Entering from the rocky right side can expose swimmers to a noticeable current in that area.
