Crystal-clear shallow water and abundant sea life including fish, starfish, and anemones are visible immediately from shore.
Wear water shoes or booties
Sea urchins cover much of the rocky bottom, making entry and exit difficult without foot protection.
Arrive before 10am in summer
One reviewer reports the parking lot closes by mid-morning during peak season, preventing entry after that time.
Expect a rocky, pebbly beach
