Guide

Good to know

Dogs welcome in estuary area only
The river mouth to the right allows dogs year-round; the main beach bans them during summer months.
Visit at low tide
The beach expands dramatically, creating shallow flats where children can play and you can walk to neighboring Islares Beach.
Arrive early on summer weekends
Parking becomes chaotic by mid-morning, especially on Sundays in August and market days.
Bring your own water and restroom supplies
The beach lacks showers, toilets, and trash cans; the nearest facilities are over five minutes away.
Check lifeguard presence before visiting
Lifeguards are present only in summer; currents and underwater potholes present hazards outside the season.
