Go at low tide for long walks
At low tide the beach stretches nearly a kilometer and a half with flat sand, ideal for strolling.
Plan for waves and cooler water
This beach has noticeable waves and the water is not particularly warm.
Arrive before 2pm or expect crowds
The beach shrinks dramatically when the tide rises after 2pm, forcing visitors into a small, cramped area.
Bring a windbreak, not just a parasol
The beach is consistently very windy, so a parasol alone will not keep you comfortable or protected.
Expect difficult parking in peak season
From June onwards, parking becomes scarce and traffic congestion increases, especially in July and August.
