Go for sunset views and evening walks
The promenade and bridge offer spectacular sunset views over the Albufera lagoon, and the waterfront is excellent for strolling.
Visit outside peak summer season
The beach becomes crowded with residents and tourists in summer.
Check lagoon floodgate status beforehand
When floodgates open, seawater becomes murky and visitors report itching or a bad smell from Albufera runoff.
Expect limited parking on busy days
Parking can be difficult during peak hours and weekends, though it is relatively easy on quieter days.
Wear protective footwear or shoes
The beach has a large number of clam shells piled on the shore that can cause cuts if stepped on.
