Guide
Good to know
Reported good with little kids
Visitors often mention shallow or calm water. This is what reviewers report, not a safety assessment.Mentioned by 12 visitors · 2017–2026
Ideal for snorkeling and clear water views
Shallow, sheltered waters and a rocky seabed attract fish and allow visitors to see underwater life clearly on calm days.
Bring water shoes without fail
The seabed transitions quickly from sand to large rocks, making entry and swimming uncomfortable or difficult without them.
Visit outside peak summer months
August and mid-July attract crowds that fill the parking and reduce space on the narrow beach significantly.
Bring cash to the beach bar
The only food vendor on-site does not accept cards and has limited supplies beyond drinks and sandwiches.

Questions
Common questions
Where do you park at Cala Calafató?
The nearest mapped parking area is 250 m from the listed location. Positions come from OpenStreetMap, not from review text.
How far is the walk to the water at Cala Calafató?
50 m in a straight line from the listing to the mapped shoreline, under a minute. Soft sand and dune make the real walk longer than the straight line.
Does Cala Calafató have restrooms?
No restrooms are mapped within 600 m on OpenStreetMap. That means nobody has mapped any, which is not the same as there being none.
Measured from OpenStreetMap, public aerial imagery and live conditions data, and counted from visitor reviews. Every source, in full.
